Chiropractic care aims to increase the mobility of fixated joints, thus restoring movement and balance to the joints, muscles and ligaments, and nervous system. Philosophically speaking, the greatest benefit to chiropractic care is that it enhances the functioning of the nervous system which is the master control system of the body. The central nervous system, which is the spinal cord and brain, is in charge of all our organs, cells and tissues. The chiropractic adjustment removes nerve interference so that the body can function more efficiently.
Most people come in for pain relief. Chiropractic is excellent for helping to relieve the pain and stiffness associated with musculoskeletal or mechanical stresses. Holistic minded chiropractors also guide the patient with proper ergonomics, exercises and better ways to live a healthier life.
